PIPE RELINING | THE PONDS

Pipe relining in The Ponds provides a trenchless solution for repairing sewer and stormwater pipes affected by cracks, breaks, deterioration or tree-root intrusion. Because the damaged drain is repaired internally, relining can eliminate the need to excavate and replace the entire pipeline.

The process begins with high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages and clean the internal pipe surface. A CCTV drain camera is then used to locate the damaged section, assess the pipe’s condition, record measurements and confirm whether relining is appropriate.

A flexible liner saturated with specialised resin is inserted into the existing pipe and positioned over the damage. It is then inflated firmly against the internal wall and allowed to cure, forming a strong, seamless and watertight pipe within the original drain. Where required, connected junctions can be reopened using specialised robotic cutting equipment.

Once the liner has cured, a final CCTV inspection confirms that it is correctly installed and the drainage system is clear. For recurring blockages, root intrusion or deteriorating clay pipes, drain relining in The Ponds offers a durable repair while minimising disruption to floors, driveways, gardens and landscaping.
